3 tablespoons Mighty Fast butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 small white or vidalia onion, chopped
3 small cloves garlic, chopped
2 cups vegetable broth, turkey drippings or chicken broth
1 tablespoon chicken seasoning
1 tablespoon cornstarch
After infusing butter in the Mighty Fast Herbal Infuser, set aside above amount to cool. In a large saucepan on medium low heat melt butter. Add in onions and garlic and cook until fragrant and translucent. Slowly whisk in flour to make a paste called a roux. Once all flour is combined with the butter, slowly whisk in broth or turkey drippings. Add in seasonings. Allow to simmer on low until broth thickens, 10-20 minutes.
If gravy is not thick enough, in a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and a few tablespoons broth until all cornstarch is dissolved. Slowly add in cornstarch mixture to gravy and allow to thicken, 5 minutes or until desired consistency. Add in salt and pepper to taste before serving.
