Mighty Baked Apple With Crumb Topping


2 large red or green apples

1/4 cup Mighty Fast butter

2 teaspoons cinnamon

2 tablespoons coconut or raw sugar

2 tablespoons flour

1/2 cup apple cider, apple juice or water

2 tablespoons honey, agave or maple syrup

2 tablespoons chopped pecans or walnuts


After using the Mighty Fast Herbal Infuser to infuse butter, set aside above amount to cool. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Carefully core apples from top so middle is empty but bottom of apple is still intact. Mix cinnamon, sugar, flour and butter in a bowl. Mixture should be wet and crumbly. Rub about 1 teaspoon of butter underneath apple then place apple in a small oven safe dish and fill core with crumb topping. Top crumb topping with a small piece of butter, sprinkle nuts then drizzle honey over apple. Pour apple cider into bottom of dish. Place dish in oven and bake for 30 minutes or until apple seems soft and crumbs are lightly browned. Allow to cool. Top apple with whipped cream or ice cream and serve.
